Easily Offended? This may NOT be the job for you... Internet Safety Evaluators Needed to review content (yes, sometimes "offensive") and help flag unsuitable material

by Chris Durst       Feb. 15, 2023

“SHAME ON YOU, CHRIS!”

Every time I post these types of positions, I end up getting a handful of “shame on you” emails from people who are abashed that I would post a job that clearly states, “Must be willing to review offensive/mature content without being offended.”

Here’s the thing — well, actually three things:

  1. You will not be viewing exclusively offensive content! The company just wants to be sure that if you encounter it you can handle it.
  2. These positions exist to help spot and flag the kind of content you find offensive from your searches — somebody’s gotta do it!
  3. If you don’t like a particular opportunity you find on the RRR site, don’t apply but don’t judge either. The job you scoff at may be perfect for someone else!

There, now on to the job!
