Operating as a full-time remote position, the Drawback Specialist role offers flexibility and requires the candidate to be based within 50 miles of a FedEx Logistics office. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with mandatory overtime during peak periods.
What Your Day Will Look Like
As a Drawback Specialist, you will focus on submitting accurate drawback claims to US Customs and Border Protection. Your tasks will include preparing and reviewing documents, maintaining claim processing schedules, and providing status reports to clients. This role involves daily interaction with clients to ensure compliance with CBP regulations and to assist them with their documentation needs.
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Process Claims: Submit accurate drawback claims
- Review Documents: Prepare and review necessary paperwork
- Maintain Schedules: Ensure timely claim processing
- Client Interaction: Provide information and support
- Ensure Compliance: Follow CBP regulations strictly
Relevant Experience & Skills Required
- Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED
- Customs Knowledge: CBP rules and regulations
- Communication Skills: Excellent client interaction
- Organizational Skills: Maintain filing schedules
- Math Skills: Prorate, add, subtract, multiply
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated compensation for this role is $19.00 – $24.00/hr. (Estimated based on similar Drawback Specialist roles; Actual pay may vary.)
