Logistics

This is a 1099 contractor position that is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States. The role requires availability from 11am-7pm ET, Monday through Friday, aligning with our Enrollment Operations team. The compensation for this position ranges from $18 to $20 per hour.

What Your Day Will Look Like (Non-Phone Work)

As a Live Chat Support Agent, you will engage with potential patients strictly via text-based live chat, providing clear and empathetic written responses to their inquiries. You will coordinate with internal team members by reviewing voicemails and missed call logs to create written tickets, ensuring the designated phone team handles all actual verbal callbacks. Maintaining accurate records of interactions in our CRM and communicating efficiently across platforms like Slack will be key responsibilities.

Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Respond to Live Chats: Engage with potential patients by providing clear and empathetic responses
  • Answer Program Questions: Provide information about basic concepts related to our program offerings
  • Monitor and Triage: Review missed call logs and voicemails to create written support tickets, escalating them to the designated phone team to handle any actual verbal callbacks
  • Coordinate Follow-Ups: Work with internal team members to ensure timely patient follow-ups
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of interactions in our CRM

Relevant Experience & Skills Required

  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare, wellness, or mission-driven setting is preferred
  • Passion for Heart Health: A genuine interest in improving heart health and empowering individuals
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written communication skills with a calm, helpful demeanor
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience using CRMs, Slack, and/or chat support tools is a plus
  • Self-Starter: Highly motivated and proactive, able to take initiative without requiring constant direction

Compensation & Benefits

The estimated compensation for this role is $18-$20 per hour based on experience.
