What Your Day Will Look Like (Non-Phone Work)

As an Analyst, Claims Research, you will delve into claims research activities, focusing on identifying processing errors and developing remediation plans. You will interpret claims-related regulatory requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance claims processing efficiency. Your day will involve detailed data analysis, report tailoring, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Conduct Claims Research: Review and analyze claims to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Identify Processing Errors: Use analytical skills to find the root cause of errors and develop remediation plans
  • Collaborate with Departments: Work with internal teams to address high-priority claims inquiries
  • Interpret Regulatory Requirements: Ensure claims processing aligns with state-specific regulations
  • Improve Claims Performance: Develop strategies to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of claims processing

Relevant Experience & Skills Required

  • Education Requirements: At least 3 years of medical claims processing experience or equivalent education and experience
  • Claims Processing Knowledge: Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace programs
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data research and analysis abilities
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication proficiency
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel

Compensation & Benefits

The estimated compensation for this role is $17.85 – $38.69/hr. based on experience.
