In spite of the “technical” mention in the job title, applicants are not required to have a technical background — though applicants with some tech experience may be given preference.

Compensation is listed as $15.87 – $23.75/hr., depending on your knowledge, skills, and abilities.

As a Technical Customer Care Specialist I, you’d provide support to Express Aftermarket clients via phone or email.

As a Technical Customer Care Specialist I , you will provide support to Express Aftermarket clients via phone or email. Display knowledge of the Auto Industry and Vehicle Protection product line offered through the Express Aftermarket Platforms through client interactions.

This is a Remote Call Center position with the expectation that the candidate will be scheduled Monday – Saturday, to work between the hours of 9AM – 6PM. Candidates can be located anywhere in the United States but must be comfortable working in the Central Time Zone.

Job Duties

  • Become proficient in all Express Aftermarket knowledge base requirements to resolve clients’ needs as efficiently as possible for inbound phone queue and email to case queue.
  • Provide clients with accurate and timely on-demand support.
  • Become proficient in all Express Aftermarket platforms, Admin systems, and tools used to maintain client records, transactions, documentation, and relevant data.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of Client interactions within departments’ CRM tool (Salesforce).
  • Manage a high volume of tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Meet and/or exceed established Departmental guidelines and service level agreements.
  • Provide excellent client service and advocacy.
  • Effectively communicate to the client how to use any of our client-facing tools.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications  :

Minimum

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Generally, less than 2 years of experience
  • Must be flexible to work any shift during business hours, currently Monday – Saturday, 9AM – 6PM (hours subject to change to meet business needs)

Preferred

  • Technical background preferred
  • Associates Degree or Technical Certification required or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of various computer applications including experience with business support applications such as MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working in a team environment and assisting others as applicable
  • Ability to type 40+ WPM
  • Follow-up/follow-through skills
  • Ability to handle and respond to multiple open issues
  • Able to work independently with little direction and multi-task and handle various tickets at once while being extremely productive and timely

Compensation:

Hourly base pay rate is $15.87 – $23.75/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
