MAPFRE, a multinational insurance company, has posted a work from home Customer Service Rep II position.


There is a paid training period of 6-7 weeks.

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday, first shift position.

Starting pay is listed as $17.50 – $19 /hour, depending on experience.

As one of our Customer Service Representatives, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience to our customers and agents. As a Customer Service Representative you will act as a key resource which includes responsibilities in answering calls for billing and functions for all products, lines of business and affiliates and coordinating first notice of loss claims.

CALL CENTER BILLING or FNOL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

This position pays $17.50 – $19 / hour to start, depending on experience

Comprehensive benefits as of Day One

Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are preferred

Ongoing Monthly Classes

Schedule/Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Eastern) while in training (approximately 6-7 weeks).

Once training is complete, regular work schedule will be: Monday through Friday, 9:30AM to 6:00PM (Eastern). In addition, this position requires some Company holidays to be worked.

Requirements

Education:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent

Experience:

  • 1 – 3 years of experience in a customer service role
  • Ability to make good business decisions without guidance, but escalating when needed
  • Strong sense of accountability
  • Proven ability to problem solve
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to be on the phone for extended periods of time
  • Ability to take constructive feedback from both peers and Supervisors
  • Ability to use basic computer commands and proficiency
  • Willingness to learn different software packages

Training – In addition to 2 weeks of classroom and peer training, we provide ongoing support and coaching to our trainees.
