U-Haul is hiring Work from Home Customer Support Specialists and reached out to ask us to share these openings with you.

The company also says they’re offering a “sign-on bonus of $1,000 after 90 days.” Benefits and paid training included. The pay isn’t mentioned, but we’ll update if we hear.

The role involves helping customers book, edit, reschedule and/or cancel Moving Help services via phone, chat, and email. No college required, no state hiring restrictions mentioned. Different shifts are listed, and you’d need to be able to work AZ hours.

U-Haul is looking for an organized, friendly, and motivated call center representative who can work out of our Phoenix office. This position entails helping customers book, edit, reschedule and/or cancel Moving Help services via phone, chat, and email. To do well in this role you need to be able to remain calm when customers are frustrated and have experience working with computers.

This is an on site position!

Regular Shift Hours:

  • Tuesday-Saturday: 7am-3:30pm (Sunday & Monday off)
  • Friday-Tuesday: 7:30am-4pm (Wednesday & Thursday off)
  • Saturday-Wednesday: 7:am-3:30pm (Thursday & Friday off)

Training:

  • 4 weeks of training Monday-Friday: 7:30am-4pm

Customer Support Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Communicating with customers through phone calls, chats, and emails.
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
  • Processing, rebooking, and modifying orders.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues and supervisors as necessary.
  • Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.

Customer Support Specialist Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
  • Comfortable using computers.
  • Experience working with customer support.
